Strong and shallow M6.4 earthquake hits off the coast of Taiwan

A strong and shallow M6.4 (USGS) earthquake hit off the coast of Taiwan at 01:42 UTC on April 20, 2015. USGS is reporting a shallow depth of 29 km (18 miles). Geoscience Australia is reporting M6.5 at a depth of 15 km (9.3 miles). JMA is reporting this quake as a very shallow M6.8 earthquake.China Earthquake Networks Center reported it as M6.4 at a depth of 7 km (4.3 miles).
